Born and raised in the Dallas metroplex area, Carroll Brown Arnold graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and has successfully completed graduate work at the University of North Texas. She is an award-winning writer and has been published in several national publications. Carroll has worked with multiple organizations within the public relations, publishing, marketing and fundraising fields over the last two decades. She currently serves on the HPA Board of The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas.
Carroll has been married to equine veterinarian Dr. Kenton H. Arnold for more than 22-years. The couple lives in Terrell, Texas, on a 39-acre equestrian breeding-farm with their 12-year-old daughter Austria. The Arnold family enjoys competing in equestrian events, traveling around the world and learning about the Lord together. Carroll is an eight-year breast cancer survivor.
